Overview

This project was completed during COVID-19 so additional safety measures were implemented. The project specification was to refurbish classrooms and offices to suit a changing environment and create usable space.

CTC instructed a structural engineer to work with us on this project regarding the removal of load bearing walls. Following demolition, we relocated walls and introduced glazed screens within the new partitions to create lighter offices and feeling of space. In the classrooms we introduced power and data point to suit the new seating layout, this will enable students to maintain social distance. Hand washing facilities were added to adhere to government’s guidelines on washing hands. And kitchenette was installed.

Trades covered: Demolition, carpentry, plastering, electrics, data, plumbing, floor laying, painting and decorating.
