Overview

Waterside Place is a privately owned Grade II Listed Building situated in Hertfordshire.
The estate offers a wealth of original features, excellent views, and a picturesque lake at the centre of the development.
CTC were contracted to complete the external repairs and redecorations to part of the building.

Works included:

Timber repairs to windows
Gutter and downpipe replacement
Roof repairs
External redecorations
Brickwork replacement and repairs.

The building had slipped into a state of disrepair and needed some serious attention. Once the scaffold was erected, we worked with the building’s directors to methodically number the windows and balconies so that there was a point of reference throughout the project.
All windows were tested for moisture and decay and putties removed. Any rot found within was scraped and drilled until solid, the timber was then treated and filled with a 2-part epoxy wood filler moulded to match the existing. A similar process was used with the facias and soffits. Areas that were beyond repair were replaced.
All the timber, metalwork and balconies were scraped back, thoroughly prepared and repainted back to match their original vibrant colours.
